• In the topical treatment of infections external to the eyeball and surrounding areas caused by chloramphenicol-sensitive micro-organisms;
• In conjunctivitis;
• In trachoma;
• In keratitis or keratoconjunctivitis;
• In blepharitis;
• In dacryocystitis;
• In corneal ulcers.
