Midriodavi is a long-term mydriatic (it dilates the pupils allowing for a better view of the fundus of the eye) and cycloplegic drug (it causes the ciliary muscle of the eye to be paralysed allowing for an exact refractive measurement).

Midriodavi is indicated:

• In refraction tests and ophthalmoscopic examinations;
• Before cataract surgery;
• In the treatment of iritic, iridocyclitis, and choroiditis;
• In the prevention of iridolenticular adhesions.
